After much waiting and speculation, the day has finally arrived for EXO member Kai to debut as a soloist, and it's giving EXO-Ls so much to rave for!
At midnight, the K-pop idol released the first teaser image of his first solo mini-album titled, “KAI (开).”
The main dancer of EXO is seen wearing an all-black outfit with his face peeking through his hoodie.
The morning after the teasers were released, Kai's label, SM Entertainment, shared more details about the upcoming self-titled album.
“'KAI (开)' will be released on November 30 and will contain a total of six tracks,” it said as reported by Soompi.com.
Back in July, it can be recalled that the South Korean agency confirmed Kai's plans to release his first solo album back and is planning to release it in the second half of the year.
Kai will be the fifth member of EXO to make his solo debut, following Baekhyun, Chen, Suho, and Lay.

Kai has previously discussed his plans to do a solo album in early 2020 during an interview with GoGoBoi.
“First of all, there are plans [of a solo album],” he said.
“A lot of fans have been anticipating it, but this is the first time I'm saying this clearly. I hope everybody can look forward to it.”
