Kang Tae-oh

Cue the sad whale song.

Kang Tae-oh cemented his place as one of the most-popular K-drama leading men after his performance as Lee Jun-ho of the Hanbada Law Firm in the hit series Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

But many were surprised after K-entertainment site Soompi reported that Tae-oh is getting ready to enlist in the Korean military.

In South Korea, all able-bodied men aged between 18 and 28 must serve in the military as part of efforts to defend against their neighbor North Korea.
