Kang Tae-oh cemented his place as one of the most-popular K-drama leading men after his performance as Lee Jun-ho of the Hanbada Law Firm in the hit series Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
But many were surprised after K-entertainment site Soompi reported that Tae-oh is getting ready to enlist in the Korean military.
In South Korea, all able-bodied men aged between 18 and 28 must serve in the military as part of efforts to defend against their neighbor North Korea.
According to Soompi, the Korean actor announced during his online fan meeting “TikTok Stage Connect: SweeTaeOh” that he will be enlisting on September 20.
