Sa pagpasok ng bagong taon ay isang magandang balita ang natanggap ni Maggie Wilson at sinabing ibinasura na ng korte ang petisyon na inihain ng dating asawa na si Victor Consunji.
Matatandaan na naghain noon si Victor ng petisyon na naglalayong ipatupad ang Temporary and a Permanent Protection Order under the Violence against Women and their Children Act (VAWC) of 2004 laban kay Maggie.
Layon ng petisyon na pigilan ang dating beauty queen na makipag-ugnayan sa kaniyang anak na si Connor. Ito ay inihain umano ng kaniyang dating asawa dahil sa alegasyon ng banta ni Maggie sa mental at physical health ng kaniyang anak.
Sa Instagram Stories ibinahagi ni Maggie ang magandang balita kung saan sinabi niyang kaakibay ng petisyon ang ilang testimoniya, kabilang na ang sa dating co-host niyang si Marc Nelson na nagsabing nasaksihan daw nito ang emotional stress ni Connor.
“Despite several testimonies including the likes of Marc Nelson, who testified his knowledge on behalf of the petitioner Victor Consunji of how my son suffered emotional stress, anxiety, and annoyance due to me, were all denied by the family court of the Republic of the Philippines,” pagbabahagi ni Maggie.
Pagpapatuloy ng dating beauty queen, “Unfortunately, this exercise also subjected my son to being put on the stand at just 12 years old.”
Ngunit sa kabila ng mga pahayag na ito, natuklasan ng Family Court na walang ebidensya ang mga akusasyon at sa halip, ipinapakita lang ng social media posts ni Maggie kung gaano siya nangungulila sa kaniyang anak. Sinabi rin nila na ang mga nasabing posts ay pagpapahiwatig ng pagmamahal ng isang ina sa anak na nawalay sa kaniya.

Sa excerpt ng sinabi ng korte na pinost ni Maggie, nakasaad, “There was no credible evidence to support a finding that Respondent (Me) committed psychological violence against her son. There is no reason to prohibit the Respondent from communicating with her son (C). As a mother, the respondent has the right and duty to communicate with her son.”
Dagdag pa ng korte, "Therefore, there is no reason to prohibit the Respondent from communicating with her son (C). As a mother, the respondent has the right and duty to communicate with her son."
Pinasalamatan ni Maggie ang Presiding Judge at ang Family Court “on behalf of all mothers going through something similar” para sa pagpursigi nila para sa katotohanan.
Inihingi na rin niya ng tawad ang kaniyang ex-husband “for yet again wasting the court's valuable time.”
Sa huli ay ini-upload ni Maggie ang litrato nila ni Connor, kalakip ang mensahe na “My love for you is unwavering, standing strong against the tests of distance and time.”
