Celebrity moms Iya Villania, Camille Prats, Chynna Ortaleza, LJ Reyes, Pauleen Luna, Chariz Solomon, and Isabel Oli launched a fundraising campaign for mothers and their babies on Sunday, April 12.

Dubbed as “Project: Alalay Kay Nanay,” the project aims to provide moms' basic needs for their babies such as food, water, vitamins and hygiene among others.

The group released an official statement regarding the fundraiser.

“My mommy, friends and I started a fundraising campaign to help #feedthebabies at this time of enhanced community quarantine.

“Since most relief goods are not baby-friendly and most moms and parents are on a daily salary basis, they need help to buy baby essentials.

“Please help us raise funds to help #feedthebabies by supporting 'Project: Alalay Kay Nanay',” they added.

The celebrity moms also underscored the power of uniting mothers, especially in these trying times.

“When moms unite, amazing things happen!” they said.

Coz there are a lot of mamas and babies who need extra help right now, you might want to lend a helping hand :) Please help us raise funds and support the mamas who get by with only their daily wage and don't have much right now coz of ECQ.
