Charlie Dizon and Paulo Avelino bagged the Best Actress and Best Actor awards, respectively.
The coming-of-age film, Fan Girl, took home the major awards at the Gabi ng Parangal hosted by the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) on Sunday, December 27.
In total, Fan Girl won nine awards including Best Actress and Best Actor for Charlie Dizon and Paulo Avelino, Best Director for Antoinette Jadaone, and Best Picture.
The Gabi ng Parangal ceremony was streamed online through the MMFF's official Facebook page.
Serving as hosts for the special evening were Marco Gumabao and Kylie Verzosa.

- Best Visual Effects: Magikland (Richard Francia, Ryan Grimarez of Central Digital Lab)

- Best Musical Score: Magikland (Emerzon Texon)
- Best Sound: Fan Girl (Vincent Villa)

The public can watch the 10 participating movies for this year's MMFF on the streaming platform Upstream.ph until January 7, 2021.
