The popular stylist and makeup artist was rushed to the hospital in March after suffering a stroke.
Celebrity stylist and makeup artist Fanny Serrano is now out of the hospital and resting at home.
Sharon Cuneta shared the good news yesterday, May 2, on Instagram.
“Thank you so much, everyone for all your prayers! I am happy to tell you that TF is now home, recuperating and on his way to a happy 100 more years! God still performs miracles in the present day. Praise Him!” wrote the Megastar.
Fanny, or TF, as what he is endearingly called in showbiz, suffered a “massive” stoke on March 16.
It was also Sharon who broke the news about Fanny's health predicament and tirelessly provided updates on the makeup artist's condition throughout his stay in the hospital.
On March 24, a distressed Sharon said that Fanny was on life support to help him breathe.
“I do not know what to do with myself...TF, I promised you years ago that I would take care of you until the end... I think I have kept that promise,” a worried Sharon mused.
“But this is not the end I want for you...I know it is all God's call and His decision, but I wish you weren't in this situation.”
Sharon also lashed out at the rumor claiming that Fanny has passed away. The death hoax spread on social media less than 24 hours after Sharon shared the news about Fanny being on life support.
“This is circulating now. It is fake news. May malay daw si TF today so I called him and the nice nurse put me on speaker kaya nakausap ko sya kahit di sya makasagot,” Sharon wrote on Instagram.
“Please help us spread the word that he is still with us. Buhay pa sya. And to those who have nothing better to do, this is not the time to be a**holes okay? Sorry pero ang sasama nyo!”
The person who posted the fake news on social media immediately apologized to Sharon.
“It was a big big mistake. I deleted my post right away. Mali po ang nagbalita rin sa akin sa group chat namin and binawi nya po ito agad I am so sorry,” said Esmael Lopena, a councilor based in Calumpit, Bulacan.
Sharon considers Fanny as one of her closest friends in show business. They've been friends for more than 30 years.
“Kasi halos everyday kami magkasama niyan and talagang sabi ko, ano man ang sabihin mo, hindi ko matatawaran ang pagmamahal at loyalty ni TF (Tita Fanny) sa akin,” said Sharon in 2016.
