Thanks to their presence on different social media sites and their obvious charm and chemistry when they're together, people might think that the pairing of real-life couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos is something that has always been accepted by everyone. But as a number of screenshots now being shared on Facebook by fans show, the relationship also had its share of detractors.

In a post by Facebook user Nadine Danielle Achivida, two screenshots from a post made by Gabbi back in 2019 show how she responded to an Instagram user questioning her choosing Khalil as a boyfriend.

“Why him? Because he is a smart, sensible, kindhearted man. He brings out the best in me,” she wrote.

Gabbi then followed it up with a comment saying everyone hating and questioning her relationship “doesn't know how to respect a person's happiness and personal life.” She then went on to wish that those questioning her relationship would find the person that would give them the love and respect that they deserve.

As of this writing, the Facebook post has already been shared by more than 22,000 people.

The couple has only gotten stronger since 2019, doing workouts together, running a podcast, and even pursuing a new hobby in overlanding.

The couple says that overlanding gives them a chance to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

“'Yung effort worth it. Gumising kami ng anong oras, umalis kami ng three, halos hindi kami natulog kasi siyempre gusto namin ma-catch yung sunrise. Worth it siya kasi makakahinga ka ng mas presko, ng wala masyadong iniisip,” explained Khalil during an interview with 24 Oras.
