An Unexpected Twist Text by: Jason Lim Last Sunday night, the world of StarStruck's final eight survivors was rocked as the wild card challenge was once again put on the table. Nobody was expecting it as it had not been used in the previous season. Earlier that night, we asked the final eight survivors if they knew what else was in store for them. It seemed that every test the previous batches undertook had already been thrown at them. What else could possibly be waiting for them in the next few weeks? No matter the answer they gave, it surely didn't come close to the shocking twist that happened as StarStruck ended its live show last Sunday night. Fresh from being interviewed about their place as part of the final eight, the survivors were asked to step in front of the audience to await the announcement of who would be part of the bottom group. In the vote out, the survivors were asked to vote out two of their fellows and Jesi Corcuera received the most number of votes from her peers. This automatically included her in the night’s bottom group. But as Jesi waited for the next name to be called to join her as part of the bottom group, the hosts told her to rejoin her group as no one was going to be eliminated that night! In a twist that has only happened once before during the second batch of StarStruck, the ten StarStruck Avengers were reintroduced. They will now be given another chance to be part of the final eight. So welcome back Chariz Solomon, Jean De Castro, Lui Perez, Lizzy Pecson, Chad Burden, Renee Lascuna, Hazel Uy, Dex Quindoza, Rich Asuncion and Jan Manual. These survivors proved to the viewers that they deserved to be part of the Final 20, but can they convince the audience members that they deserve to stay in the game much longer and be included in the final eight? On StarStruck 2, CJ Muere was able to reclaim a spot in the final six after previously being voted out. He went on to become the First Prince of the second batch. Now who from this batch can replicate or top his performance? Is your favorite one of the ten Avengers that will fight back? Or is he or she already in the final eight? Who among this reunited group of survivors will prove to deserve the final eight spots of StarStruck: The Next Level? Find out by watching every weeknight after Jumong, Saturdays after Wish Ko Lang, and Sundays after Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang.
