Are Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica heading to splitsville?

This is the question most fans and netizens are asking after a series of cryptic posts from both sides have been making rounds on the internet, prompting rumors that the couple has split.

Kylie sparked the rumors after she posted the text, “I'm submissive, not stupid,” on her Instagram Story.

She then proceeded to post another text that said, “More self-love, baby girl.”

Furthermore, on her Instagram profile, the Kapuso actress posted now-deleted photos of her left hand sans her wedding ring and an image of herself with the caption “Free.”

Netizens who were the first to see the photos quickly took a screenshot of the images and immediately concluded that the daughter of action star Robin Padilla has separated from her husband, Aljur Abrenica.

Adding more fuel to the fire is that Aljur's photos can no longer be found on Kylie's account.

Meanwhile, for his part, Aljur has been posting videos with his children recently, but the one that stood out the most for netizens was an image of his hand holding the rosary back on February 17.

He said in the caption, “Prayed the rosary on the road. Been praying for a while. The power of prayer is real. Brought peace and clarity. Thank you, @vinabrenica [his brother], for lending and guiding me.”

Could the rumors be true? So far, the couple has remained mum about the issue.

Kylie became engaged to Aljur in January 2017 after an on-and-off relationship spanning five years. They then married on December 11, 2018. The two have two children together, named Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo.
