Kapuso leading ladies, Carla Abellana, Lorna Tolentino, and Rhian Ramos give a different spin to their characters in 'My Destiny.'

In the newest offering of GMA Telebabad, three brilliant actresses will show that it’s possible to believe in love despite seemingly hopeless circumstances.
Lorna Tolentino, Carla Abellana and Rhian Ramos join the cast of My Destiny which airs tonight.
Lorna plays Agnes, the mother of best friends and close sisters Grace and Joy, portrayed by Carla and Rhian, respectively.
The three described to 24 Oras the nature and challenges of their roles.
My Husband’s Lover star Carla admits that it’s not a breeze to play someone who has a different personality than hers. “Mahirap yung character [ni] Grace kasi playful, mataas yung energy, tapos yun nga, brusko, medyo palaban [at] tomboyish pa so malayo kay Carla,” she said.
Rhian, on the other hand, focuses on how she will attack her character who constantly roots for the happiness of her sister. “Gusto ko sana for this show, ibang-iba yung treatment, pati yung mga kilos ko [at] yung paraan ng pananalita ko,” she shared.
Veteran actress Lorna Tolentino, meanwhile, compares the role from previous ones she had. “All the time naman nanay [tayo] lagi lagi eh. Pero yung bumali is characterization niya, yung pagiging hindi niya masyado OA… hindi siya ganun ka-dramatic,” she declared.
They noted how My Destiny, unlike other shows, is very relatable. It encourages people to stay afloat despite being in the midst of difficulty within loved ones and family members. My Destiny airs tonight on GMA Telebabad, after Niño.
