According to Cosmopolitan Magazine Philippines' Editor-in-Chief, Ms. Myrza Sison, they picked Megan because of her style and ability to inspire women when it comes to fashion.

Megan Young wowed the people behind a Cosmopolitan Magazine Philippines that's why she made the cover of its big fashion issue.
According to Cosmo's Editor-in-Chief, Myrza Sison, they picked Megan because of her style and ability to inspire women when it comes to fashion.
“It’s our Big Fashion Issue so we definitely wanted a cover girl who’s stylish and fashion forward and looks good in the latest fashions, not to mention an inspirational fashion peg for all our readers. She’s also making waves as Marimar, so she’s truly cover worthy for this month.”
Working with Megan is always a breeze according to Sison. She said, “She’s one of our favorite cover girls to work with—always professional, such a good model who knows her angles and knows her body well, she knows how to move and project in front of the camera.”
The editor-in-chief also admired Megan because of her diligence and devotion to her commitments.
“She barely had any sleep because of her taping session that ended at 8:30 am the day of our shoot, but she pulled through and was a consummate professional.”
Aside from that, the team also lauded Megan’s down-to-earth persona that they have seen since the they met her for the first time in 2013.
“She also has a great sense of humor and treats everyone on the set nicely, so everyone loves her and she makes work less of an effort and more of a fun experience. She hasn’t changed since we first shot her for Cosmo on Campus in 2013, which was before she won Ms. World. She’s the same sincere, genuine, and truly nice person she’s always been.”
According to Sison, there are things that they have learned from Megan as an actress and as a Ms. World.
“That she is true to herself and who she is, no matter what titles or roles (and all the trappings and perks that come with them) she assumes. She has enough self-knowledge, self-awareness, and humility to keep her grounded despite her success.”
