Carla Abellana's gown during the GMA Thanksgiving Gala was exclusively designed for her by Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer, Michael Cinco.
Carla Abellana has all the right to be called royalty in her Michael Cinco gown during the first-ever GMA Thanksgiving Gala last Saturday, July 30, at the Shangri-La The Fort in Taguig.
Inspired by Old Hollywood glamour, the Voltes V: Legacy actress donned a fully beaded ombre piece with Swarovski crystals.
Carla completed her look with classic makeup and vintage bouncy curls, bringing the classic Hollywood cinema era to the present time.
"I never thought I would ever get to wear a @michael5inco creation," Carla said in her Instagram post.
Carla felt lucky to have been dressed by the Dubai-based Filipino designer who actually designed the creation exclusively for her.
She shared, "What was initially a long shot at trying to inquire and perhaps possibly even borrow any of his exquisite gowns that may go well with the old hollywood theme, suddenly turned into a sketch of an exclusive piece for me, made from scratch, fully beaded with swarovski crystals and flown directly from Dubai to my home just in time.️

Before the grand event, Carla got to wear two different gowns for her preparation for the gala.
Carla looked finesse in her custom slip dress and feathered robe by Kannah Besino Simbulan.
Meanwhile, Carla looked stunning in a beaded mermaid cut haute couture gown by Leo Almodal.
