Food business

Food will never go out of style no matter how bad the business climate is.

For wealth coach Chinkee Tan, he firmly believes that despite the pain that we experienced due to this COVID-19 pandemic, food business remains to be a lucrative venture--period!

He explained in his vlog, “Ano ang puwede natin ibenta sa 2021?

“Definitely top on the list [motion with his hands] chow-chow, pagkain!

“Di ba magtitipid tayo sa lahat ng maraming bagay, sa pagbili na siguro ng damit, gamit. Siyempre hindi tayo masyado lumalabas, pero pagdating po sa pagkain we never compromise.

“Food would always be a lucrative business, no matter how small or big man 'yung binibenta mo, basta pagkain po.”

Before putting up your business, Mr. Tan emphasizes the importance of keeping your cost low.

Why is that?

“Ang importante lang, ito lang pakiusap ko kung gusto n'yo mag-start ng food business keep your overhead low. Huwag muna uupa tayo ng puwesto, no renting of commercial space.

“Operate with a minimum manpower--kung puwede ikaw muna, lahat ikaw maguumpisa and operate from home. Ang kagandahan kasi pag nasa loob ka ng bahay, work from home ka, just in case na walang benta, walang lugi.

“And coming up with a simple menu, huwag agad maraming tinatawag na choices kahit mga two or three. Kailangan lang naman talaga isang signature dish at the same time may specialty,”

Items for online classes and work from home setup

From headphones, earphones, tablets, laptops and even study tables, these items are hot products that people will still need in 2021, since we will be spending most of our time at home for either for work or studies.

Chinkee pointed out, “Ang nakikita ko na isang malaking opportunity this 2021, since karamihan po ay not only work from home but study at home--yung gamit for online classes.

“This is the likelihood na palaki nang palaki at patuluy-tuloy itong mga tinatawag natin mga online classes, hindi pa po magkakaroon ng face to face meetings.

“So, if you meet the needs of the people right now, 'ay naku, malaking pagkakakitaan 'yan.”

Make money out of being a plant parent

One of the big surprises of this COVID-19 pandemic is that many people discovered that they have a green thumb.

Yes, there is a huge market for plantitos and plantitos, who want those rarest and most beautiful plants they can add to their collection.

Chinkee Tan encouraged people to try out this business, which can bring in huge money for yourself.

Delivery or Pasabuy service

With people staying at home to avoid contracting the highly-contagious coronavirus, it is also good to try this 2021 a delivery-related business.

“Since ang mga tao ayaw na lumabas, so dini-deliver na ang mga produkto. Palaki nang palaki 'yan, swak na swak 'yan.” Tan said.

The financial advisor added, “So consider the following, 'pag kayo ay papasok sa mga delivery service 'yung pricing n'yo, siyempre service n'yo.

“Tapos incentives for your clients at the same time promptness of your delivery. Fast-delivery time, importante 'yan. Kung gusto mo ikaw mismo,”

Another service that Chinkee Tan suggested is that people can also offer some Pasabuy services, too.

“Alam n'yo ba 'tong pandemic na 'to, marami na ang tinatawag na online shoppers. Ang gagawin mo lang io-order mo lang sa kanila, sila na bibili para sa'yo at ide-deliver sa'yo.”

Deep cleaning services

Another possible gold mine for this new year is that you can tap people's need to keep their home safe and virus-free.

So another potential money-maker for 2021 is having your own deep cleaning service for those people who want their abode squeaky clean.

“Everyone wants their home to be virus-free, to be clean. Lalo na 'yung may maliit na bata, mga senior citizen. Invest in innovative disinfecting machines, materials, and tools--that's another opportunity na puwede kayo mag-service.”
