Famed Feng Shui expert Marites Allen called on entertainment industry stars to prioritize and pivot as she shared her forecast for the coming Year of the Yang Fire Horse.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com at the sidelines of her press conference held at the Manila House Private Members Club, Marites warned that contracts and commitments could be easily snatched from stars in the coming year.

“If you have something that you need to prioritize…if you have contracts or commitments, secure it, because it could be easily snatched from you,” she shared. “This is actually a year for the fast and fierce. This is not a year for the weak. Gawin niyo na before February 17, 2026.”

In fact, Marites also called on entertainment stars to diversify their sources of income in the coming year.

“There's a lot of opportunities, but you really have to pivot. All you have to do is go with it. Go for it, do not rely on entertainment. In fact, if you have one or two other sources of income, go for it,” she explained.

Marites' forecast for the entertainment industry was just part of her declarations for the coming year. According to her, the decisive and fast-moving nature of the Year of the Yang Fire Horse means industries connected to technology, artificial intelligence, digital platforms, education, wellness, consulting, and sustainability are positioned to perform well, while organizations resistant to change may face increasing pressure.

Aside from the entertainment and business worlds, Marites also shared a forecast for the country, explaining that the year's dominant Tiger energy clashes with the country's Monkey Hour Pillar, which symbolically represents the people—particularly younger generations.

“This points to heightened public awareness, faster reactions to leadership decisions, and a more vocal youth,” Allen said. “When guided properly, this energy supports innovation and reform. When mishandled, it can lead to polarization.”
