Isa na sa mga pinakakilalang pangalan sa entertainment industry ang Filipino-American producer na si Marc Anthony Nicolas. Ang two-time Emmy Award winner ay magiging parte na ng GMA Pinoy TV sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang show na Make Your Marc simula March 24.

Matapos gumawa ng marka sa American television para sa The Ellen DeGenres Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, at The Talk, handa na si Marc na gumawa ng content para sa Global Pinoys.

Espesyal raw para sa kanya ang maging parte ng GMA Pinoy TV dahil bukod sa pinapanood ito ng kaniyang pamilya nagbibigay rin ito ng oportunidad sa mga tao ikuwento ang kanilang buhay.

“I am so excited because it is going to be airing in Guam, Japan, North America, and all these amazing places and I am just so lucky and so blessed to have this team behind me,” sabi niya sa isang interview.

Dagdag pa niya, “Working on this project, it is so nice to see people who look like me and talk like me and share that special bond and heritage and tradition and that is what makes it feel so special because I have that connection not only with the trailblazers who are Filipino but also the crew.”

Sabi naman ng direktor ng Make Your Marc na si Christian Reyes, bihira lang sila makakilala ng producers na magtitiwala sa kanila at madalas ay walang collaboration na nagaganap.

“It is different now because both of you believe in us and you want to work with youngsters, for lack of a better term, and I thank you for that,” sabi niya.

Malaki rin ang tiwala ng executive producer ng programa na si Chris Gordon sa team ng Make Your Marc.

“One, I have never been on a set or worked on a project where just about everybody is a person of color or a Filipino American or Filipino. And the production team, Christian and his crew are young and they are vibrant and they are fresh and they are hungry and you can feel it,” sabi niya.

Malaki rin umano ang tiwala ni Chris sa wit at brilliance ni Marc, at sa kaniyang passion sa pag-produce ng mga kuwento na magbibigay inspirasyon sa mga manonood.

“I also think that folks are going to be represented here. I feel as though with the trailblazers and people whom they have inspired, I feel as though there are a lot of people who will be inspired by these trailblazers' stories and how they have become, how they have made their mark in the world,” sabi niya.

Abangan ang nakamamanghang kuwento ng Global Pinoys na nag-iwan ng marka sa kani-kanilang larangan.

Kabilang dito ang ang singer na si Ranella Ferrer, na nakilala para sa kaniyang napakagandang performance ng national anthem at pagiging mentor ng young, aspiring singers.

Mapapanood din ang kuwento ng Filipino Fashion designer na si Kenneth Barlis, na gumawa ng mga damit para sa ilang global icons tulad nina Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, at Carrie Underwood.

Gayundin ang buhay ng fitness expert na si Maricris Lapaix, na naging malaking inspirasyon sa marami para sundan ang kaniyang fitness journey.

Mapapanood din sa programa ang kilalang Filipino chef, author, at TV host na si Alvin Cailan.

Abangan din ang mga personalidad na kinilala ng The Outstanding Filipino Awards (TOFA). Bahagi nito ang batikang talk show host na si Boy Abunda, multi-awarded broadcast journalist na si Jessica Soho, at ang TOFA founder na si Elton Lugay. Kabilang din dito ang entrepreneur at founder ng pinakaunang Asian-inspired sparkling water na si Sandro Roco; ang California's Teacher of the Year awardee na si Joseph Alcario, na nabiyayaan ng award para sa kaniyang passion sa pagtuturo; at si Dr. Audrey Sue Cruz, na kinilala para sa kaniyang kontribusyon sa healthcare noong kasagsagan ng pandemya.
