Mikey Bustos on his new home: “I always dreamed of this as a kid.”
Social media star Mikey Bustos is feeling a bit sentimental after seeing that he is slowly fulfilling his dream home.
On December 2020, the Filipino-Canadian YouTuber and LGBTQIA+ advocate shared that he is currently busy in the construction of his beautiful home in Cavite.
In another Instagram post early this month, Mikey shared his thoughts about his experience in constructing his forever home.
He posted, “Got a bit dusty visiting our house under construction. It's been a very interesting learning experience, building a home from scratch. There's just so much that goes into the homebuilding process I never considered. We still have a lot of work ahead to do.”
Mikey again posted on February 23 to express how important this new chapter in his life is.
“The joy of watching a dream come together is an experience I can't describe but wish and hope every single person in this world gets to feel.”
Anniversary with RJ Garcia
Before the end of 2020, Mikey and his long-time partner RJ Garcia marked their eighth anniversary together. The couple made their relationship public back in April 2019.
Mikey wrote a sweet message on Instagram for RJ.
He wrote then, “It's an awesome day! Happy 8th year anniversary to my gorgeous King. Let's go help make the world a better place, @appleboyrj! We have much work to do!
“PS - Wish I had a picture of both of us from 8 yrs ago to post (we were such kids lol), but back then we were hiding and took no photos together in fear that they would be leaked #closetedproblems. Thank God we don't need to do that anymore and can live life the way every human being should live life - authentic and free forever!”
Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, some celebrities chose to push ahead with their plans to build their forever home.
