Most fans have always wondered what it feels like to work behind the scenes with their favorite K-pop groups.

From being part of the glam team to dancing with them on stage, supporters dream of creating unforgettable memories with the stars they admire.

In an episode of GMA's morning show Unang Hirit, Kapuso viewers got the chance to hear stories from Filipino-Japanese choreographer Rie Hata.

As a highlight, it includes what it's like working with none other than global hit group BTS!

“It's such an honor to work with hardworking and ambitious people,” she said.

“I've been choreographing so many songs from BTS, but every time I choreograph, I raise the level, but they always respond. They're amazing.”

When asked who her favorite artist or group to choreograph for is, Rie said she loves working with all of them equally. She also expressed admiration for stars who have been dedicated to dancing since childhood.

“I always give my energy to each one of them, so I never thought of which one is my favorite,” she added. “I'm focusing on directing, formation, and the concept.”

During their talk on her visit to the Philippines, the choreographer teased that there might be potential projects. She added on meeting with some Filipino celebrities and teams. However, further details are still under wraps.

"I cannot tell you guys, right now. But really, really exciting things are coming. Please stay tuned," she teased.

Rie Hata is behind several iconic choreographies for some of the biggest names in the K-pop industry. One of her unforgettable collaborations was J-Hope's “MONA LISA” with choreographer Wren Crisologo.
