Sophia Laforteza has just made her debut with KATSEYE!

HYBE Labels just launched their newest K-pop girl group--KATSEYE!

On Friday, KATSEYE released their music video, titled “Debut,” on YouTube.

The two-minute video starred Filipina idol Sophia Laforteza, Daniela, Lara, and Megan from the United States, Manon from Switzerland, and Yoonchae from South Korea.

KATSEYE is scheduled debut EP, “SIS (Soft Is Strong),” in August.

The group was formed through the reality show “The Debut: Dream Academy.”

A collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, contestants took part in the K-Pop idol training system before debuting as a global girl group.

Around 20 aspiring idols competed, handpicked from 120,000 applicants from all over the world.

Sophia was the only Filipino contestant and is the first Filipino artist under HYBE.
