
Owl City, the alt-pop project of artist Adam Young, is celebrating a big milestone.
In the official Facebook page of Owl City, it happily announced that the hit single "Fireflies," which was released in 2009, has surpassed one billion streams in the music platform Spotify.
In a short message, Owl City thanked everyone for their incredible support.
“A billion thank yous. I never would have imagined this when I recorded this little song in my bedroom. Thank you for all your support along the way. Here's to a billion more.”
Aside from Fireflies, other hit songs of Adam Young include “Good Time” feat. Carly Rae Jepsen and “When Can I See You Again?” from the Disney animated movie 'Wreck it Ralph.'
