Congratulations, Inday Sara!
There will be more additions to President Rodrigo Duterte’s first family, after her daughter Sara Duterte-Carpio officially confirmed that she is expecting triplets soon.
In a report published by GMA NewsOnline this Friday, August 19, the Davao city mayor explained that her pregnancy was the reason why people haven’t seen her in public or in the celebration of the Kadayawan festival that is being held from August 15-21.
According to Mayor Sara’s statement, "I would also like to share with you the news that I am pregnant and cannot join you in the merrymaking activities."
"We are expecting triplets and they are doing well on their seventh week. The human body is made to carry just one baby and I am experiencing threefold all the pregnancy symptoms that a woman goes through,"
She added that she will continue to work as city Mayor long as her doctors will allow it.
"I will continue to work until I am allowed by the doctors to do so, however, I have been advised to avoid crowded places to lessen the chance of acquiring infections,”
Inday Sara is happily married to Atty. Manases Carpio and they already have two beautiful kids named Sharky and Stingray.
