Former child-star and vlogger Trina “Hopia” Legaspi is a proud “breastfeeding mom” to her little Kaela.
Now that her first baby, Kaela is approaching her sixth month, former child star Trina Legaspi took to Instagram to share to her followers some of her realization on her breastfeeding journey.
Back in April, Mommy Trina openly admitted that she had a difficult start to breastfeeding her daughter.
Fast-forward to today, Mrs. Jarina thinks that all that hard work was worth it.
She wrote on Instagram, “Hindi ko akalain nung una na mahirap pala mag-breastfeed. Nung newborn palang si Kaela, sabi ko, ako lang ba na 2 hours na siyang dumedede sa akin? Wala na akong nagagawa. Walang tulog. Unang kagat, namimilipit ang paa sa sakit. Hahaha! 'Di ko siya pwede iwan, kahit saan ako magpunta dala-dala ko siya. Daming adjustments at sacrifices.”
“Mahirap man talaga sa umpisa pero ang masasabi ko lang it gets better and easier.
“Ngayon malapit na siyang mag 6 months, exclusively breastfeeding pa rin. Ang bilis! Breastfeeding ang pinaka-rewarding at fulfilling na nagawa ko bilang isang ina. Hindi ko ito ipagpapalit kahit sa anupaman sa mundo.”
Trina gave birth to her first baby with non-showbiz husband Ryan Jarina last March. They tied the knot twice---the first wedding happened in 2021 and then a year later, they married again at Christ the King church in November 2022.
