Did you know that chief of staff Yessey's antics were not part of the original character sketch?
First Yaya actor Thou Reyes gave some pointers to aspiring actors.
In First Yaya, Thou portrays the chief of staff of President Glenn Acosta (Gabby Concepcion), Yessey Reyes.
"To all our aspiring actors, I would like to share these three clips that show the different levels of listening to your co-actor," he wrote in the caption of his Instagram posts.
"The art of reacting in acting. I'm no expert but most of the gestures and expressions that you see on Yessey were impromptu on the take itself.
"Having your character in mind, your body will naturally react to whatever it hears.
"'Being in the moment is a joy to do in a scene, especially if you have great co-actors to be with."
