Here are some tips from Elmo on how to find balance in life. 


Kapuso actor Elmo Magalona has everything going for him. Besides being Villa Quintana’s leading man, he also runs a successful restaurant business with his siblings.

Having just turned 20, what else does Elmo aspire for?

The showbiz royalty aims for a good balance of the myriad of things that life has to offer. If you, like Elmo, would like to live life to the fullest, here are five life hacks from the Kapuso heartthrob:

1.       Travel.
“Feeling ko hindi pa naman ako super mature. I think marami pa akong dapat maranasan. I wanna be able to travel, to explore not just outside of the country, but mostly here in the Philippines. I wanna look at the beauty of the Philippines.”

2.       Eat healthy.
“Ang tagal ko nang hindi nag-diet. Noong start nga ng Villa [Quintana], nanghinayang ako kasi hindi ako nakapag-work out. Naging lax ako masyado sa diet ko but then now, since summer na, mas nagpursige ako sa mga food na kinakain ko and I try to run as much as possible.”

3.       Nurture connections.
“Janine [Gutierrez] and I share our interests with each other. Kapag may alam akong gusto niyang bagay, kinukuwento ko sa kanya, tapos kapag may narinig din siyang balita about something, kinukuwento niya rin sa akin. More or less, that’s how our day goes. Sharing things together, that’s what makes us bond more.”

4.       Have a positive outlook.
“I was really insecure before and I’m super shy. Now, parang nakakalas na ako from that. Sobrang nakatulong siya sa akin ngayon, how I think positively now, how I surround myself with optimistic people. I’m sure sobrang makakatulong rin iyon sa ibang tao.”

5.       Explore and go for what makes you happy.
“A lot of things are inspiring me right now. I wish for true happiness, doon nagsisimula lahat. When you’re truly happy, lahat sumusunod.”
 
Life can get complicated, but with good vibes and a sunny disposition, your journey will be worthwhile. Be the best you can be just like Elmo!
