The first week of the fiery Thai lakorn, 'Flames of Vengeance,' gave a glimpse of the characters and how a grave betrayal affected their lives.

Maui (Yard Yardthip Rajpa), who received a tip from a friend, caught his husband, John (Fluke Krirkphol Masayavanich), cheating on her with Angela (Ying Rhatha Phongam).

When she arrived at the hotel room the two were staying in, Maui overheard their conversation about John not loving her anymore and wanting to divorce her.

John said he was only staying with Maui because of their adopted children.

Betrayed and hurt, Maui confronted them. She pushed John out of the room and locked her and Angela inside. It was then revealed that Maui and Angela are actually step sisters.

To make matters worse, Angela revealed that she is pregnant with John's child.

As revenge, Maui refused to grant John divorce and did not allow him to take their kids away.

In the end, the siblings had to be separated from each other with Jericho (Joss Way-ar) going with John and Ashley (Fah Yongwaree Anilbol) staying with Maui.

Maui became a successful businesswoman, 18 years later, and Ashley assisted her in the business.

Ashley bumped into Ben (Bie Thassapak Hsu), while she was on her way to the restroom of the restaurant they were supposed to meet in.

One of Ben's exes saw them together and thought Ashley was Ben's new girlfriend. To drive away the girl, Ben kissed Ashley and pretended she was his lover.

Despite having been forced to be separated, Jericho and Ashley maintained contact with each other.

A flashback revealed an incident where Ashley was hurt by Maui when she was younger.

Maui also had several flashbacks when she returned home, including her happy moments with John.

A fight between John and Angela revealed that her pregnancy years ago was not an accident but was planned by Angela.

John and Jericho went to visit Maui and Angela, but Angela unexpectedly arrived. After the incident between Maui and Angela, John threatened to leave her.

Angela asked for another chance from John, who made her promise to stop bothering Maui from then on.
