Drew discussed during the bloggers conference for Home Foodie's fifth season what food means for their family.

A Home Foodie can be anyone who loves food, cooking and eating!

"Food has always been the centerpiece of our lives."

Iya supported her husband's statement by telling the food's positive effect on relationships.

Our first official family picture. We tried.😅 Thanks for the quick snaps and patience, @bendo_chan 😘

She said, "Food just naturally brings people together, especially as a family."

Iya also stressed that even the preparation or looking for good food is always a good way to bond with the people we love.

"It brings us together whether we're preparing the food, it brings us together when we're eating the food. Especially when we travel, it's always looking for good food to eat, it's always part of the trip."

Iya ended her statement by telling that food will always have a story behind it when shared with people. "I find that food has impacted our lives in many ways."

Catch Drew and Iya's food journey in the new season of Home Foodie starting on June 10 after Unang Hirit.
