In a lengthy post on the image-sharing platform, the wife of real estate icon Victor Consunji revealed that she is not confident with her skin that is why she always hide it.

Maggie shared, “I just wanted to share.. My skin has always been my biggest insecurity and last week for the first time in a really long time I felt confident enough to step out without any makeup.. I did it for several days and it felt so liberating. That might seem small to most people but being part of an industry that’s so harsh about the littlest of imperfections, I always hid behind makeup to make me feel better about myself. Yes, even at the beach!"

She also addressed those people who have something to say about her morena skin.

“And one more thing, to those people saying I’m currently “too dark/tan”.. I am NOT a natural morena, I’m actually quite fair skinned but I LOVE being tanned! Brown is beautiful! My skin, my rules,” she wrote.

Hey Monday! I just wanted to share.. My skin has always been my biggest insecurity and last week for the first time in a really long time I felt confident enough to step out without any makeup.. I did it for several days and it felt so liberating. That might seem small to most people but being part of an industry that’s so harsh about the littlest of imperfections I always hid behind makeup to make me feel better about myself. Yes, even at the beach! ????????‍?? Last week was definitely a win for me. To many more days of loving ourselves, embracing our imperfections and just being happy! P.S. I still love makeup but letting your skin breath every now and then feels amazing too.???? And one more thing, to those people saying I’m currently “too dark/tan”.. I am NOT a natural morena, I’m actually quite fair skinned but I LOVE being tanned! Brown is beautiful! My skin, my rules. ???? #siargao
