We can learn a thing or two from Maybelyn dela Cruz about embracing aging.

Maybelyn, who was part of GMA Network's defunct youth-oriented show Click, posted a throwback photo with her daughter Mia Olivia on Instagram on Monday, December 20.

On its captions, she explained why aging is a “gift” to us.

She wrote “Aging is the gift of living with more years to learn, grow, and evolve. I am grateful for all that I am, all that I have seen, everything I have learned, and to every person who has graced my life.

The former child star continued, “Here is to more adventures, more love, and more time with beings who fill me up.

"These photos of me and #mylittlemissolivia are my favorite photos taken this year. They have served as a reminder for me to let myself relish in joy when it is present, and let myself actively work to find it when it is buried--remembering that it is always there.”
