Christine on the Pambansang Bae: "Ramdam namin ang bait ni Alden."

“Totoo nga ang sabi nila… mabait at magalang na bata ang Bae ng Bayan,” is Christine Bersola-Babao’s first impression of Kapuso star Alden Richards when she finally met him at the backstage of “For the Love of Mama” benefit concert at the Mall of Asia Arena last night (November 23).

The former Kapamilya TV host said on Instagram, “Ramdam namin ang bait ni Alden. He deserves all the blessings he is receiving right now.”

She appreciates the actor’s efforts for being an inspiration, and for creating a positive impact on the lives of many Filipinos through the worldwide phenomenon that is AlDub.

The broadcast journalist said that what the 'Wish I May' singer is capable of doing is not an easy job, “Hindi madaling magpasaya ng tao. It’s a calling, a mission, a gift from God. This doesn’t mean that anyone else is less appreciated. It just means, ito ang ‘Tamang Panahon’ para magpasaya ang AlDub. Woohoo!”

For her, it doesn’t matter if an artist belongs to a specific network as long as he or she makes the Filipino people around the world happy, “Mas importante, lahat tayo ay Pilipino, lahat tayo ay nagmamahalan, lahat tayo ay may layunin na makapag-inspire ng maraming tao."
