Former Miss Grand Ukraine Anastasia Lenna is proving that she not only has the beauty and the brains, but the brawn as well, as she joins the Ukrainian army in its push against the invading Russian one.

In her Instagram stories, the beauty queen has posted a clip of what looks to be her training with a gun, with the caption: “Training. The invaders will die on our land! All world see this!”

This would not be the first time that Anastasia has handled a gun, as she has been an avid airsoft user, as evidenced by the multiple posts of her in camouflage and wielding the weapon. In one of her latest posts, she is once again brandishing an airsoft gun while the caption for the images has the hashtags #standwithukraine and #handsoffukraine.

According to the New York Post, Anastasia graduated from Slavistik University with a degree in marketing and management and used to work as a model and public relations manager in Turkey. She has also previously worked as a translator, as she is able to speak in five languages.

Anastasia is not the first beauty queen to take her service to her nation from the pageant stage to the military. Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez is a part of the country's Philippine Navy Reserve Unit, with the rank of sergeant. She has utilized this by partnering with the Navy to conduct relief efforts for the victims of Typhoon Odette.
