Several showbiz personalities like Noel Ferrer, Angeli P. Valenciano and Paco Arespacochaga have expressed their condolences to the Santiago family on their social media accounts.

"HEROES TAKE JOURNEYS, CONFRONT DRAGONS, AND DISCOVER THE TREASURE OF THEIR TRUE SELVES, ALTHOUGH AT TIMES THEY MAY FEEL ALONE IN THEIR QUESTS, AT THE END, THEIR REWARD IS A SENSE OF COMMUNITY WITH THEMSELVES AND WITH OTHERS." It pains me to go home with the news that the cute little kid who grew up in front of our very eyes when his father Kuya Randy Santiago would tag him along in the studio, has left us. As Cinemalaya 13 came to a close, I remember him joining his Tito Rowell in supporting our film entry and joining us in our movie marathons at the CCP. We continuously prayed for you RYAN; and were witnesses to how your family would always be on alert mode when something happened to you. Now, you are at peace and there's no more pain. Send our love to Mama Chiling and Papa Pablo. GOOD NIGHT RYAN SANTIAGO! #FriendsFamilyForever?? #RIPRyanSantiago ????
