Alupihang Dagat is a classic film that showcases FPJ's enduring appeal as an action hero and his lasting impact on Philippine cinema.
In Alupihang Dagat, FPJ plays Gomer, a tough and fearless seaman from a poor coastal village. Upon returning home, he discovers that several fishermen have mysteriously disappeared.
Gomer's search leads him to a remote island controlled by ruthless pirates who capture and enslave sailors. Risking his life, Gomer fights back and rescues the captives.
Directed by Fernando Poe Jr., Alupihang Dagat features Elizabeth Oropesa, Paquito Diaz, Max Alvarado, and more.
