
GMA Network continues to pay tribute to "The King of Philippine Movies", Fernando Poe Jr., on his birth month with an action-packed lineup of his timeless classics via FPJ sa GMA.
After kicking off the celebration with Kalibre .45 (1980), FPJ Sa GMA is set to take another restored classic of the legendary action star into the spotlight.
This Sunday, August 10, the show features Ang Maestro (1981) which highlights the unforgettable performance of FPJ and Pacquito Diaz.
The 1981 action-drama film follows Hernan (FPJ), an orphan, who is taken in by a fencing master and trained to become a skilled swordsman. He eventually faces off against the ruthless Ignacio de la Vega who is determined to claim the title of "maestro" at any cost.
Ang Maestro also stars Chat Silayan, Romy Diaz, Jose Romulo, Mario Escudero, Bert Olivar, Max Laurel, Nello Nayo, Ruben Ramos, among others.
FPJ Sa GMA airs Sundays, 3:15 p.m., after Resibo on GMA.
