'FPJ Sa GMA' will close November with the 1977 film 'Bontoc,' showcasing the compelling performances of Fernando Poe Jr. and Elizabeth Oropesa.
FPJ Sa GMA is set to take another restored classic of The King of Philippine Movies, Fernando Poe Jr., into the spotlight, blending breathtaking action and heartfelt drama.
To cap off November, FPJ sa GMA offers Bontoc on November 30. Set in the Cordillera mountains, this 1977 film stars FPJ and Elizabeth Oropesa in a culturally rich story of tribal conflict, tradition, and the fight for peace.
The movie follows Lumawen “Bontoc” (FPJ), who remains unshaken and bravely holds his ground despite the relentless harassment from the hired goons of American engineers.
Bontoc also stars Eddie Gutierrez, Paquito Diaz, Dencio Padilla, Imelda Ilanan, Jeanne Young, among others. It is directed by Pablo Santiago and written by Armando De Guzman.
