This Sunday, August 17, 'FPJ Sa GMA' features the 1986 action-drama film 'Iyo Ang Tondo, Akin Ang Cavite' as part of the celebration of 'The King of Philippine Movies' Fernando Poe Jr.'s birth month.
GMA Network continues to pay tribute to "The King of Philippine Movies," Fernando Poe Jr., on his birth month with an action-packed lineup of his timeless classics via FPJ sa GMA.
This Sunday, August 17, FPJ Sa GMA is set to take another restored classic of the legendary action star into the spotlight.
The action continues with Iyo ang Tondo, Kanya ang Cavite where FPJ teams up with another on-screen icon, Ramon Revilla Sr., in a story of territorial pride and brotherhood.
The 1986 action-drama film follows two friends living similar lives in Tondo and Cavite experience a falling out due to a misunderstanding. As tensions rise, both try to defend themselves, worsening the conflict.
Directed by Pablo Santiago, Iyo ang Tondo, Kanya ang Cavite also stars Anita Linda, Liza Lorena, Paquito Diaz, among others.
FPJ Sa GMA airs every Sunday, 3:15 p.m., on GMA.
