This Sunday, May 10, on Mother's Day, 'FPJ sa GMA' presents the 1987 rom-com action film 'No Retreat, No Surrender si Kumander', starring screen legends and real-life partners Fernando Poe Jr. and Susan Roces.

GMA Network proudly reaffirms its commitment to preserving Philippine film heritage by bringing Filipino viewers closer to the enduring legacy of "The King of Philippine Movies" through FPJ sa GMA.

This Sunday, May 10, on Mother's Day, FPJ sa GMA showcases another classic Filipino film, No Retreat, No Surrender si Kumander, headlined by screen legends and real-life partners Fernando Poe Jr. and Susan Roces. It is the 1987 action-comedy sequel to Manedyer... si Kumander (1982).

No Retreat, No Surrender si Kumander continues the adventures and misadventures centered around Poe Jr.'s character, Gener, a mechanic and auto shop owner. As in the previous installment, the narrative includes the comedic tension arising from the jealous reactions of his wife Benita, played by Roces, particularly when his interactions with younger women draw her more-than-casual attention.

This movie delivers a mix of action and humor as the couple navigates the challenges of their lives, with the wife famously embodying a "No retreat, no surrender" attitude when it comes to her husband's fidelity and their relationship.

Directed by Pablo Santiago, No Retreat, No Surrender si Kumander also stars Sheryl Cruz, Randy Santiago, Chichay, Mely Tagasa, Bayani Casimiro, Tina Loy, and others.
