GMA Network proudly reaffirms its commitment to preserving Philippine film heritage by bringing Filipino viewers closer to the enduring legacy of the “King of Philippine Movies,” Fernando Poe Jr., through FPJ sa GMA.

Headlining February's lineup is the 1981 classic Pagbabalik ng Panday, highlighting the action star's unforgettable performance in a timeless tale of heroism.

The movie follows Flavio (FPJ), a humble blacksmith chosen to wield an enchanted sword and stand against a ruthless tyrant using dark magic. Guided by destiny and driven by justice, he embraces his role as the legendary Panday, battling evil forces to restore peace and hope to the land.

Also starring in Pagbabalik ng Panday is FPJ's onscreen nemesis, Max Alvarado, playing the merciless Lizardo.

The return of FPJ Sa GMA is made possible through the historic partnership of GMA and FPJ Productions, Inc., the studio responsible for restoring the screen icon's classic films.

The special programming aims to bring Da King's legendary movies back to television, rekindling the magic of his cinematic masterpieces. It also serves as a memorable and nostalgic experience for both longtime fans and younger audiences, who may be discovering the works of the National Artist For Film, who starred in hundreds of films, for the first time.
