This Sunday, September 21, 'FPJ Sa GMA' presents the 1978 action film 'Patayin Si Mediavillo,' starring Fernando Poe, Jr. and Azenith Briones.
This Sunday, FPJ Sa GMA is set to take another restored classic of The King of Philippine Movies, Fernando Poe, Jr., into the spotlight.
FPJ Sa GMA will feature the 1978 action film Patayin Si Mediavillo, starring the legendary action star and actress Azenith Briones.
It follows a police officer named Mediavillo (played by FPJ) who becomes the target of multiple assassins hired by a powerful businessman seeking revenge. The businessman happens to be the brother of a drug dealer who accidentally died at the hand of Mediavillo.
Patayin Si Mediavillo is directed by Armando A. Herrera and written by Fred Navarro. It also stars Vic Diaz, Romy Diaz, Jonee Gamboa, Ricky Rivero, and Jabbar--the sidekick wonder dog of Da King in the movie. Moreover, FPJ's daughter, Grace Poe, appeared in the action film in a special role.
