This Sunday, October 5, 'FPJ Sa GMA' presents the 1977 action-comedy film 'Tutubing Kalabaw, Tutubing Karayom', starring Fernando Poe Jr. and Niño Muhlach.
This Sunday, FPJ Sa GMA is set to take another restored classic of The King of Philippine Movies, Fernando Poe Jr., into the spotlight.
FPJ Sa GMA kicks off October with 1977 action-comedy film Tutubing Kalabaw, Tutubing Karayom, starring the legendary action star and former child actor Niño Muhlach.
It follows two pickpocketing friends, Nanding (FPJ) and Ponso (Dencio Padilla), whose lives change when they unexpectedly become guardians of a lively four-year-old boy named Pikoy (Niño Muhlach). Through a series of comedic misadventures, the hardened criminals gradually develop a deep bond with the child, transforming from reluctant caretakers to loving father figures in this heartwarming and lighthearted story.
Tutubing Kalabaw, Tutubing Karayom also stars Dencio Padilla, Marianne de la Riva, Paquito Diaz, Deborah Sun, Joonee Gamboa, Angie Ferro, Nello Nayo, Victor Bravo, Belo Borja, among others. Produced by FPJ Productions, the movie is directed by Armando A. Herrera and written by Fred Navarro.
