It’s difficult to imagine that someone who dominates the dance floor and possesses a natural ability to make people laugh, used to be shy. This is just the case for Sef Cadayona.

It’s difficult to imagine that someone who dominates the dance floor and possesses a natural ability to make people laugh, used to be shy.
However, Sef Cadayona admitted that it was exactly the case for him when he was younger. In school, he’d hesitate to crack a joke in fear of his classmates not finding it funny.
“Kasi noon, gustong gusto ko magpatawa pero nahihiya ako. Syempre pag nagpapatawa ka, minsan, ‘di mo maiwasan na baka may ma-offend ka, pero noon pa man, gusto ko na magpatawa. Gusto ko maging class clown pero shy ako,” he said.
A lot has happened since then though. He joined
StarStruck and qualified in the Final Fourteen, people started to recognize him because of his popular commercial series, and of course, he became part of other GMA shows.
Sef feels very blessed to have reached this point in his career as he gets to work with industry veterans and even bag prestigious awards

Aside from gaining the confidence to crack jokes and not being afraid to make a fool of himself, he has gained wisdom which he applies to his work, himself, and life in general.
“Sef now is more careful, more mature, more responsible with money, parents, friends, life and responsibilities. Now I see responsibilities as blessings because they are opportunities for me to mature,” he shared.
He acknowledges that there is more to achieve
(read full story here) and more to learn, but that doesn’t keep him from recognizing what he has now, and being grateful for the blessings he gets to enjoy.
“Sef right now is happier. I’ve been blessed with wonderful parents, wonderful friends, a wonderful career, wonderful co-workers. [I have] nothing but the best [in my life right now],” he added.
