The sunny and vibrant month of March is often a perfect time to have a vacation in the Philippines.
It can also be nice to take a little break off from the usual busy schedule.
Some book plane tickets to have great adventure in farther destinations, while others prefer tickets to festivals where they can join a crowd with common interest.
If your wanderlust desires the latter, here are five fun festivals you can this month:
“A weekend of almost everything that flies” is the motto of the Flying Carnival 2020! This sports aviation event will feature all that is capable of floating to their air from kites to hot air balloons, from drones to helicopters, and more! Catch this fun-filled fiesta on March 6-8 at the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite.
The Wanderland Music and Arts Festival is an annual tradition of “good music and good people.” This 2020, the event returns with sports and athletics theme. Local and international artists will grace the music festival on March 7 and 8 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds, Alabang.
Here's a head start of what awaits you in Wanderland:
The Manila Coffee Festival unites all the Manileño coffee-lovers in one place to support the local coffee products and celebrate all things coffee-related, with music and arts on the side. This lifestyle event will take place on March 13 to 15, from 10am to 7pm, at The Manila Hotel.
This year, MCF2020 will showcase the “Humans of Coffee” exhibit, a series of mini documentaries that pays tribute to the coffee growers all over the Philippines.
Art in The Park is an art fair that has “a mission of making the visual arts accessible to everyone.” Since its beginning in 2006, the annual event has offered a wide range of paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, and more at affordable prices-and this year at PhP50,000.00 and below.
This art fair has free admission and will be held on March 15, from 10am to 10pm, at Jaime Velasquez Park in Makati City.
To give you a tease, here is Richard Quebral's masterpiece which was used in their official poster for this year.
The Malasimbo Festival is a celebration of both traditional and contemporary arts & culture, with music performances and environmental advocacies. On its 10th year anniversary, the event was held outside Mindoro for the first time.
Festivalgoers enjoyed the event held at La Mesa Eco Park in Quezon City last February 29 to March 1.
