A clip from the 2004 fantasy-comedy drama series 'Marinara' went viral for the hilarious performances of Rufa Mae Quinto and Sherilyn Reyes as they chat while soaking in the sea.

The 2004 fantasy-comedy drama series Marinara made the rounds online after GMA Network reuploaded it under "Kapuso Feels".

The specific clip that resurfaced features its lead star Rufa Mae Quinto and her onscreen nemesis, Sherilyn Reyes.

It shows Arwana (Sherilyn) luring Dolphina (Rufa Mae) into killing her mother, Oceana (Angel Aquino)—who is also Arwana's sister—and her two sisters, Marie and Aira (also played by Rufa Mae), so Arwana can become the future queen of the sea kingdom, Laot Daot.

Arwana and Dolphina exchange conversation while soaking in the sea, which turns into a meme moment. As the caption read, "Convo ng magpipinsan na nakababad sa pool".

The clip sent netizens into fits of laughter, with Rufa Mae's hilarious portrayal of Dolphina's naiveness and innocence. In fact, it already amassed more than three million views since it was posted last January 3, 2025 on the Facebook page of GMA Network.

Marinara premiered on June 21, 2004 on GMA Network's Telebabad lineup. It also stars Alfred Vargas, Angel Aquino, Ronaldo Valdez, Wendell Ramos, among others.

Full episodes of Marinara are available on GMANetwork.com.

Rufa Mae is undeniably one of the funniest comedians in Philippine showbiz.

For 15 years, she was part of GMA's longest-running comedy gag show, Bubble Gang, which sharpened her comedic skills.

But more than her sketches on-screen and sexy physique, her authenticity is the trait that her fans most love about her.

No doubt why until now she is trending because of her wit and humor and, not to mention, her catchphrases like "'Todo na 'to," "To the highest level," and "Go, go, go" that make people roll on the floor laughing.

These lines have become her signature—so iconic that netizens can vividly imagine her delivering them.
