No games, just real-life farming. PhilRice developed three apps for your farming needs!

Farming is now at the tip of your fingers. These mobile apps are made for the tech savvy farmers, and for the aspiring ones, too!

Get your hands on these three innovative applications developed by the Philippine Rice Research Institute through FutureRice.

“FutureRice is a platform that showcases different technologies offered by PhilRice to help our native rice farmers,” said Dr. Jasper Tallada, Philippine Rice Research Institute's Program Leader for Rice Farming Modernization and Mechanization.

1. AgriDOC

The AgRiDOC App is a farm management app designed for the Filipino rice-based farmers.

Its features include Simple Record Keeping, Rice Crop Insights, Geo-Visualization, PalayCheck System, and Easy Task Scheduling.

2. Binhing Palay

The Binhing Palay App has a catalog of released rice varieties in the Philippines, and it can help you decide the rice variety you will use for this season.

It offers not only the catalog, but also the Rice Variety Characteristics, Rice Seed Key Check, and Rice Variety Search.

3. eDamuhan

The eDamuhan App is developed to assist in combating pest weed species in the rice field.

It boasts the Artificial Intelligence Weed Recognition, which processes and recognizes the type of weeds by just taking a picture. It also features a Catalog of Weed Species and Weed Management Practices.

These ultramodern farming apps received high ratings on Google Play with an average of 4.7 stars. But the best thing about these apps is that you can use them anytime and anywhere. Yes, they don't require internet connection!
