Actress and producer Giselle Tongi or G Tongi is back again in the Philippines and this time around, she brought her son Kenobi Walters to reconnect with his roots.
On Monday, G Tongi wrote, "Towering over me, barely 16. Kenobi, you're turning into a man before my eyes. Happy we got a chance to take this trip to the Philippines and visit your Lola's hometown of Lobo, Batangas, where your Tagalog roots hail. To many more adventures with you by my side, son!"
She included a photo of her with Kenobi gazing out at the beach.
G. Tongi was active in showbiz back in the '90s, appearing in shows such as Gimik, Beh Bote Nga, Mulawin, Paraiso Ko'y Ikaw and films like Enteng Kabisote and Langit sa Piling Mo.
Currently, G Tongi is based in the U.S. where she has been residing since the early 2000s with her husband Tim Walters, and their children Kenobi and Sakura.
She has been participating in theater productions in the U.S. and has recently co-produced the Broadway musical Here Lies Love--which tells the story of the Philippines' former first lady Imelda Marcos and the country's history under her power.
