Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos

Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos brought their ultimate fan energy to IV of Spades concert!

Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos are the biggest fans of OPM!

On Instagram Stories, the Kapuso actress shared photos from the two-day IV of Spades Live concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on December 12 and 13.

“My 2017 heart @khalilramos and I followed their music since "Ilaw sa Daan" days!! kakaproud!!” she wrote.

“Pa-ugly cry na ko nito. Years ago, pinagtitiyagaan namin pakinggan yung demo or live recording nila sa YouTube ng “Mundo” kasi di pa siya officially released. 'Yun 'yung time na onti pa lang kaming nakakaalam ng song na 'to,” she shared a throwback.

Meanwhile, Khalil posted photos and videos from the concert along with a heartfelt tribute to the OPM band.

“It's 2017, and a young band by the name of @ivofspades steps onto the Scout Magazine Festival stage to perform. Little did they know they were about to usher in a whole new generation of OPM artists,” he began.

“I remember very vividly the first time I heard “Mundo.” During its climax, I looked to my right and asked one of the members of She's Only Sixteen, “Who the hell are these guys?!” Khalil recalled.

Since then, Khalil became a fan, even giving the band flowers after that first show. On the same day, he introduced IV of Spades to Gabbi, and the two instantly became fans, attending the band's gigs and concerts whenever they could.

“And now, finally, a long-overdue concert. The show lasted nearly three hours, with them performing hit after hit. Gab and I felt so nostalgic. Para kaming dinala ulit sa 2017 versions namin na mahilig manood ng gig every weekend,” he shared.

“Grabe kayo, IVOS. Sobrang nakakaproud. Ang linis ng tunog, pulidong-pulido. You guys have grown so much as artists. We will always be cheering for you. Salamat sa musika niyo!” he added.

IV of Spades recently reunited after a five-year hiatus with their latest album Andalucia.

Before their latest album, the band's previous release was their debut album CLAPCLAPCLAP! in 2019, during which they continued as a trio following Unique's departure in 2018 to pursue a solo career.

In July, the pop-rock band made a surprise comeback with their single Aura.
