Celebrity photographer BJ Pascual, who shot Gabbi and Khalil, said that their magazine cover gave off "major Marvin & Jolina notebook cover vibes."

Since this is their first magazine cover together, Gabbi and Khalil thought that it would be a fun idea to document their photoshoot for their vlog.

According to them, they're big fans of Scout Magazine, especially when it comes to the magazine's out-of-the-box concepts.
