The Anak TV Foundation announced the complete list of awardees for the Anak TV Seal Awards 2025 last December 2, recognizing media personalities and programs that stand out.

One of the awards in the Anak TV Seal Awards is the Makabata Star award. It recognizes television personalities who are viewed by Filipino children and families as positive role models, embodying values of being most child-friendly and inspiring that the Filipino youth can look up to and emulate.

Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia was one of the awardees in the female category. She was recognized alongside several other prominent artists.

Her consistent portrayal of inspiring characters, coupled with her active and positive presence across various media platforms, cemented her position as a favorite among Filipino youth.

In an Instagram post, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre star, Gabbi expressed her gratitude to Anak TV for recognizing her commitment to serving as an exemplary role model for the youth through her profession and craft.

“Grateful for moments that remind me to keep showing up with intention. Thank you, @anaktvinc, for this recognition,” Gabbi wrote in the caption.

Despite her reported absence from the awarding ceremony, which coincidentally fell on her birthday, Gabbi's recognition powerfully affirms her dedication to using her platform responsibly for the common good.

“A sweet reminder to stay grounded, be a good role model, and continue using my platform with purpose,” she also wrote in the caption of her post.

Joining Gabbi in receiving recognition were fellow Kapuso artists such as Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, Will Ashley, David Licauco, Mika Salamanca, Marco Masa, Chris Tiu, and Shaira Diaz.
