"'Pag pinapanood ko siya, nagugulat ako, 'Jowa ko 'to?!'" says Gabbi Garcia after watching her boyfriend Khalil Ramos in 'Liwanag Sa Dilim.'
Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia admitted that whenever she watches her longtime boyfriend Khalil Ramos act on stage and on screen, she would always remind herself that the person on stage is her boyfriend.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Gabbi showed support to Khalil's ongoing theater show Liwanag Sa Dilim, where he is alternating the role of Elesi with fellow Kapuso star Anthony Rosaldo.
"Of course, I'm super proud of him. I've always been the number one supporter ni Khalil, and I've always admired his skills when it comes to acting, singing," Gabbi proudly said after the show.
"Talagang he poured his heart out sa play na 'to. Every time he has a project, he has work, he gives 101 percent, kitang kita naman talaga.
"I'm really happy for him, ang husay-husay niya talaga. Minsan 'pag pinapanood ko siya, nagugulat ako, 'Jowa ko 'to?!' Sa sobrang galing niya, nag-iibang anyo talaga siya sa stage, so ibang tao talaga siya.
"I'm just so, so very blessed to have a partner like him. Sobrang dedicated nung taong 'yun."
Liwanag Sa Dilim's story is by Robbie Guevara, Jonjon Martin, and Mio Infante, and the musical arrangements and orchestration are by Orlando Dela Cruz.
Liwanag Sa Dilim will be showing on all weekends from March 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, and 8:00 PM on Fridays, at the CPR Auditorium, RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
