Will Gabbi Garcia find love after she gets one million comments?
Real-life couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos are falling in love after one viral social media post in Regal Studio Presents: One Million Comments, Magjo-jowa na Ako.
Gabbi talked about her character in the upcoming episode to air this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. She plays the role of online tutor Ana Marie, who takes up a dare from her cousin to find a date. This came after Ana Marie's April Fool's Day prank post saying “One million comments, mag jowa na ako,'' does reach a million comments.
During her Artist Center contract signing on September 23, Gabbi told the press, "For my character, ang tagal ko ng walang jowa and meron siyang cousin na pinu-push na siyang magka-love life."
"It was only an April Fool's Day post, for my character it was only a prank kaso naka-one million comments talaga so doon iikot 'yung comments talaga kung mag-jo-jowa na ako or tutuparin ko muna 'yung pangarap ko," she added.
She then described Khalil's character as Prince Matt. "Si Khalil naman nagtatrabaho sa IT, ang since work-from-home 'yung character ko, kailangan laging naka-set up 'yung computer ko. One time nasiraan ako, so siya 'yung dumating."
While Ana Marie and Prince Matt get close, things take a turn when one of Ana Marie's active commenters, Alden Retzardz played by Manolo Pedrosa, joins the picture. Gabbi says, "Si Manolo Pedrosa 'yung magiging hadlang. Pero may twist sa character niya."
Gabbi is also slated to star in Stories From the Heart and Love You Stranger soon. One thing she is looking forward to is her possible project abroad.
She said, "Next year, meron po akong gagawin abroad na hindi ko pa po puwedeng sabihin. And continuous lang po ako sa All-Out Sundays para ma-showcase in 'yung peforming skills. So far, parang medyo puno na agad 'yung taon ko next year kaya I'm very grateful and excited."
