Kapuso actress and host Gabbi Garcia is ecstatic with her upcoming project with GMA Public Affairs, In Real Life (IRL), where she will be a host for the youth-oriented show.
She said in an online video conference, "I felt so happy, it's always an honor to work with GMA News and Public Affairs kasi magagaling silang lahat and napakagaan katrabaho lahat. I'm happy to be having a show na kailangan nowadays. Kailangan ng release ng mga ka-age ko nowadays. I'm really blessed and happy."
Gabbi also gave a glimpse into her experience taping their pilot episode in Tagaytay. "For our pilot episode, we're going to be talking about adventure, social media, and also gaming. Kasi marami nag-ge-gaming ngayon 'eh.
"Nag-shoot kami sa Tagaytay.
"Lahat naman tayo takot sa virus but we're blessed na sumsunod sa safety protocols ang GMA. We all got swabbed before working, strict din when it comes to sanitizing and when it comes to location talagang may social distancing."
She also elaborated on hosting with real-life boyfriend Khalil Ramos. "For our first episode si Khalil ang aking guest for IRL. Every episode iba't ibang co-hosts. Ang saya kasi you get to talk to people and hear their insights. Excited ako sa mga susunod pang guests."
"Iba kasi 'yung experience namin when it comes to acting. When it comes to hosting naman, meron din kaming YouTube channel. We do vlogs, so para lang kaming nagva-vlog for IRL. What's nice about it is it's so casual. Talagang makikita ng viewers na para lang siyang totoong buhay.
Gabbi and Khalil are also slated to star in the upcoming Kapuso show Love you, Stranger under GMA Public Affairs.
