In Gabbi's latest magazine feature for Preview, the Kapuso actress took this platform as an opportunity to talk about social issues pervading the nation.

According to Gabbi, “You have to be aware of what’s happening, especially in the Philippines. What’s happening in our administration, what’s happening in terms of crime and everything else. I’m a taxpayer already, and you have to know your rights. Ako, right now, I’m aware of what’s happening. You have to know what’s happening in current events.”

She also shared her thoughts about people that choose to remain apathetic or ignorant despite the many resources available to our generation.

“It’s so accessible right now. You have social media, Google and the news. There’s no reason for a person to be clueless about what’s happening. Especially because I have followers, and I have the power—not naman the power, but the ability to talk to my fans and to everyone. I feel like you have to know what’s right within the country. It disappoints me that some people choose to be ignorant,” said Gabbi.
